1. Phosphorus is the second important key macronutrient after nitrogen in terms of quantitative plant requirement.
2. It is applied to soil in the form of phosphatic fertilizers. A large amount of this inorganic phosphate applied to the soil as chemical fertilizer is immobilized rapidly and becomes unavailable to plants.
3. The beneficial bacteria in SuperPhosSol has the ability to solubilize this insolubilize phosphorus present in the soil as complex form to insoluble form for easy plant uptake.
4. The bacteria produces organic acids and acid phosphatases that helps in the mineralization of the bound phosphorus into exchangeable form.
5. The bacterium also acts as systemic biocontrol agent against various fungal and bacterial plant pathogens in crops.
